So fun fact about me: I love unisex clothing. Sizing just works better for me, female specific clothing can often be very form fitting and uncomfortable, so I often wear comfy unisex pieces, at least on casual days!

Yes, so that means lots of t-shirts, flannels, sweatshirts, and sweatpants (or joggers if you’re looking for a neater look!). The good news is that this more causal style, or “streetwear” or “athleisure” as it’s often being called is completely on trend right now!

Yep, you heard that right! That means you get wear sweats and look cute and trendy af at the same time!

Well anyways, recently I found a new brand of basic and vintage street wear pieces that I absolutely love! The brand’s name is Social Civilian. Social Civilian is a unisex street wear line aimed at pushing the boundaries of masculinity and femininity through questioning and challenging gender stereotypes.

Their sizes range from small to x-large, and prices range from $50+. I usually wear around a size 16/18 US, and I ordered my sweatshirt in a size x-large and it fit great! Unfortunately I do prefer to wear my clothing baggier, so I do wish their sizes went larger, but overall the piece fit as expected and the sweatshirt is so soft and comfy!!

Social Civilian offers two different lines. They have their “basics'” which include t-shirts, sweatshirts, and everything you’d imagine. And then they have their “reclaimed” line which are vintage pieces they’ve found, and then printed their logo on the back of the pieces! Their basics are so comfy, and stylish, while their reclaimed pieces are one-of-a-kind, and edgy!

You should definitely check them out! Below I’ve included pics of some of my faves from their site!

That’s it! What do you think of this brand! Could you see yourself wearing any of these pieces? Do you have a favorite piece??
